The “Rosso del Conte” is an almost pure Nero d'Avola, coming from a vineyard planted a sapling in 1954, with a small addition of Perricone. The grapes come from the historic vineyard San Lucio which combines the best selection of other red grapes of the estate Regaleali. It is aged in large chestnut barrels, and represents the best expression of Regaleali Estate. Its history is long with numerous evolutions, born in 1970 as Regaleali reserve but for all is simply the “Rosso del Conte”. Undergoes several revisions over the years, different types of aging, different varietal composition and so on, but always with the same philosophy, quality-oriented. The vertical tasting count many passionate fans, a wine that did discuss during its entire history, tasting different vintages is it possible to discover the characteristics and evolution of Sicilian winemaking.
